Flamenco & Sevillanas Workshop

For Fun. For everyone.

This workshop is created for anyone to enjoy dancing Flamenco. Learn basic technique and choreography in the Flamenco class, and practice your steps dancing and having fun with your friends in the Rumbas & Sevillanas class!

Dates: 4 Sundays starting September 11th (Sep 11th, 18th, 25th and Oct 2nd)

• Intro to Flamenco: 10 am to 11 am. $72  online $65

Continue, or start learning the basics of flamenco in a friendly and supportive environment. This class will be focus on core-strengthening warm-ups, upper body development through arm and hands exercises and basic footwork. You will learn how to move in the space using different Flamenco rhythms, hand-clapping techniques, as well as some basic choreography. Perfect for beginners!

• Rumbas & Sevillanas: 11 am to 12pm $72  online $65

Learn the Flamenco basics you need to have fun dancing in a traditional Spanish Party. The focus of this class is to DANCE. You will learn one Copla of Sevillanas and put in practice some Flamenco steps along with different music to find your own style. The only requirement for this class is to be ready to dance and have fun!  All levels are welcome and some flamenco or Sevillanas experience would help. No special shoes required.
