Class Recommendations based on your experience:
No previews flamenco experience (or little experience).
I would highly encourage you to join our “Intro to Flamenco Workshop” (5 weeks) happening on Wednesdays (6-7pm). This class will give you the basics that you need to start from the very beginning.
If you are able to pick up easily new material, you could also start with the technique class on Fridays (6-7pm) or the expressive flamenco and Technique class (Sundays 10:30) to enjoy dancing flamenco!
Some flamenco experience:
- Looking for opportunities to reinforce the very basics. The Intro to Flamenco Workshop (Wednesdays 6-7pm) may work for you if you want to slow down and build a stronger foundation. This is a 5 weeks class so this would be good to re-connect with the basics!
- If are looking for opportunities to bring your flamenco skills to the next level and maybe explore the use of some props, the Beginner Technique Class on Fridays (6-7pm) would be good for you! If you can only come on weekends the Expressive Flamenco & Technique class (Sundays 10:30am) is also a good option.
- If you have some experience dancing flamenco and feel that you need to work in your body posture, style and explore new ways to express yourself when you dance on stage and gain self confidence, the Expressive Flamenco© and Technique class on Sundays (10:30am) is for you!
- If you are looking for new opportunities to learn choreographies and perform the on stage, the Sunday Choreography class (11:30am) is for you! (You need to have some experience or attend our beginner technique class on Fridays to join this class).
- You want to have a 360º experience and fully enjoy dancing with us, the combination of the three regular classes is perfect for you. Gain the necessary technique skills on Fridays (6-7pm)to easily learn the choreography on Sundays (11:30) and develop the self confidence and style you need to connect with your inner dancer during the expressive flamenco© class (10:30am). AND you will be ready to enjoy dancing from you at the LS Flamenco Student Showcase!

Which LS Flamenco seasonal pass is best for me?
No experience (or little experience):
- One class a week: I would encourage you to join our “Intro to Flamenco Workshop” and buy the full workshop (5 weeks). (If you miss a class, you can make it up attending any other class during the week).
- More than 1 class a week: I would encourage you to buy the Full Workshop (5 weeks) + 10 Seasonal pass. You can combine the seasonal pass on Fridays an/or Sunday classes.
Some flamenco experience:
- One class a week: 10 Seasonal Pass (even if you miss a class, the seasonal pass is more convenience than drop ins. If you miss a class you can make it up attending any other class).
- Two classes a week: 18 Seasonal Pass (even if you miss some classes, this seasonal pass is your best option. You can make up a class attending any other class of the week). You can combine it in any of our classes during the week.
- More than two classes a week: Full Seasonal pass. Attend all the classes you want this fall and have a full experience at the lowest price per class.
If you can attend only some classes during the fall, the best option for you would be to buy a 5 Class Card ($95) or drop ins.
Additional Questions:
What differences are between Workshop and Regular Classes?
LS Flamenco Workshops:
Our workshops are a series of 4-6 weeks focused on one specific topic. Our current Intro to Flamenco Workshop is focused on developing the basics of flamenco dance for students who are having their first flamenco experience. It is required to buy the full workshop so our students get the most out of this experience. This workshop is the “First necessary step” to start our LSFlamenco journey. This class is also good for students who has attended just one or two workshops with us!
Any of our current students could attend that workshop if they were interested in reinforce the foundations of this art form.
Drop ins are also welcome although we highly encourage to buy the full workshop to really have a sense of what this class is about.
LS Flamenco Regular Classes:
Our Regular classes are happening every season and have consistency during the year. This classes are created for our existing LS Flamenco students to continue building their skills and also for any new student looking to explore different ways to learn flamenco. For this classes we offer our Seasonal Passes to give our students the best possible rates!
With the seasonal pass you can combine any classes (Fridays and Sundays) and you can make up a class by attending any classes during the same season.
Drop ins are also welcome although if you are a regular student the seasonal pass is best for you.
Can I combine the Intro to Flamenco Workshop and other classes during the week?
Yes you can. And because the pricing structure for workshops and regular classes is different, you may need to buy the full workshop (5 weeks) + any seasonal pass.
If you still have questions, please contact us at classes@LSFlamenco.com
What is the attire for the class?
If you are starting your flamenco journey you don´t need special shoes or skirt, just bring something you feel confortable dancing with. Flamenco shoes are an investment so we would encourage you to buy them only if you are committed to come to class. Meanwhile you can bring closed-toe shoes, boots, character shoes or anything you feel confortable with.
How can I sign in for the class?
You can sign in online or pay at the beginning of the class to Laura Sánchez with Cash or check, Venmo or Paypal.
